Unframed, quality fine art print of subject analogous with Caesar's eponymous snack.
The etymology of Caesar named food and cocktails owes more to modern chefs and barmen than the Roman Emperor. Still, all the ingredients of the salad would have been available in 1st Century BC Rome: Garlic, Parmesan cheese, lettuce, bread, anchovies etc. It is hardly a stretch imagining Julius's campaign cook serving them up to his boss for a healthy, quick and easy to serve nosh in the field. What more fitting a drink to slake the thirst whilst out subjugating Gaul than a 'Bloody Caesar'.

Printed using extremely fine, pigment-based archival ink, giving maximum possible vibrancy, clarity, and depth of image.

Printed on 310g heavyweight Giclée Hahnemühle German Etching paper.
This print is available in either 12"x 16" or 18"x 24" sizing.
